She is the clinical lead for the stroke rehabilitation unit at Fraserburgh Hospital and is a consultant at the stroke rehabilitation unit Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen. Thérèse holds several national roles, including Stroke Rehabilitation Lead for the National Stroke Improvement Programme. Thérèse was awarded an O.B.E. in the 2019 New Years Honours for services to stroke care and rehabilitation.
