Accessibility Statement
At Driving Ability Scotland, we recognise the importance of making our website accessible to everyone — across all devices and for people with a wide range of abilities.
We are committed to meeting, as far as possible, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Our aim is to create an inclusive online experience that enables all visitors to access information and services easily.
We’re continually developing our site to give users greater control over how they view and interact with our content. This may include options to:
- Adjust contrast levels
- Modify font type, colour, line height or text spacing
- Zoom in up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Navigate the site using only a keyboard
- Translate content into other languages
- Use screen readers or other assistive technologies
Visitors can also further personalise their experience using their own accessibility tools or browser settings.

Content Standards
We ask all contributors to use plain, clear language and avoid unnecessary jargon or acronyms. We also request that images are chosen carefully to avoid problematic colour combinations such as red and green. Some third-party content may be subject to copyright restrictions and therefore beyond our control.
Reporting Accessibility Issues
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website and may adopt new technologies as they become available. Occasionally, this may mean that some older browsers or systems do not fully support new features.
If you experience any difficulty accessing parts of the site, please let us know. Your feedback helps us identify and resolve issues, and guides future improvements.
Please contact us at info@drivingabilityscotland.co.uk with details of any accessibility problems or suggestions for improvement.
