After the Covid pandemic in 2020, Claire decided it was time for a new professional challenge. In August 2021, she joined DriveAbility Scotland after discovering a job advertisement for an Occupational Therapist. At the time, the service was new and the clinical area was completely different from her previous roles, but she embraced the steep learning curve and is delighted to have made the transition. She finds the work supporting clients with driving ability and vehicle adaptations assessments extremely rewarding. She also values being part of a small, friendly, and supportive team.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys socialising with friends and family, and attending music and comedy gigs whenever she gets the chance.
